Xiaomi has been talking about a budget-friendly smartphone with a gigantic 5000mAh battery, and Redmi 8 is most likely to be equipped with what Xiaomi has in mind. Taking a look at revealed details of Redmi 8, China Telecom indicates that it has a model number of M1908C3IC. The phone is loaded with the same processor which we have already seen in last year’s Xiaomi Redmi 7 as well as Redmi 8A with Snapdragon 439 Chipset.
In terms of design, Redmi 8 seems to has the same build and design. With a hefty 188 grams weight, it measures 156.33 x 75.40 x 9.40 mm dimensions. It features a 5000mAh battery, a USB Type-C port and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. And as far as the display size is concerned, it’s equipped with 6.21-inches HD+ display with Full HD+ resolution. The back is equipped with 12MP, and 2MP double camera setup and an 8MP front shooter is available on the front to help you capture lovely moments with your nearest and dearest. There will be three colours options to choose from -Green, Red, and Blue, but it’s expected to come in more options. The exact official launch date isn’t yet known even China Telecom’s listing didn’t reveal anything about it. The Redmi 8 price, however, is most likely to be around 1599 Yuan for its 4GB + 64GB variant.
