How to Reset iTunes Library on Mac and Windows PC
Step #1. First off, shut down iTunes on your Mac or Windows Computer. If you are using Mac OS X, launch Finder on Mac. Step #2. Click on Go → Now click on Home. Step #3. Browse Music folder. Step #4. Click on iTunes. Alternatively, you can click on Music in Sidebar in Finder and then click on iTunes. You can see two files: iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml Step #5. Delete both the files from the iTunes folder. Once this is done, open iTunes on your Mac and create your own music library. If you are using Windows PC, follow the steps mentioned below: Step #1.
